About the Event
AMIS's Welcome Reception is an annual event that welcomes all international students and scholars in greater Atlanta's colleges and universities. This event is an opportunity to extend friendship and hospitality to new and returning international students and scholars in our area, to express our warm regard, respect, inclusion, and acceptance of their diverse cultures and backgrounds, and to extend our best wishes for their educational success. It's a unique opportunity to meet Americans in the community and to gather with other international students at colleges/universities from all over metro Atlanta. At the event, you'll enjoy an afternoon of musical performances and catered reception as well as learn about AMIS programs and events to support international students and help them make connections in the local community.
